21-Year-Old Male Charged in Winnipeg Armed Robbery

Winnipeg, Manitoba – On August 23, 2017, at approximately 1:30 a.m., an adult male called 911 advising that he had just been robbed. The victim said that he parked his car in the area of Arlington St. and Sargent Ave. He got out and was confronted by a male with a handgun who demanded his car keys and cell phone. The victim was not injured as a result.

Officers then observed the vehicle being operated in the area of Wellington Ave. and Home St. and attempted to pull the stolen vehicle over. The driver refused to stop and attempted to flee at which time the stolen vehicle was driven into the front end of a marked Winnipeg Police K-9 vehicle which had its emergency equipment activated. The stolen vehicle came to a stop and three occupants were arrested.

Police seized a pellet gun and a can of bear spray.

The K-9 Officer and Police Service Dog were uninjured as a result of the collision.

Autumn Bo Antoine, a 21-years-old female of Winnipeg, as well as a 16-year-old female and male have been charged with:

  • Armed Robbery Using a Firearm
  • Possession of Prohibited or Restricted Weapon
  • Possess Weapon
  • Possession of a Firearm, Restricted/Prohibited Weapon Contrary to Prohibition Order
  • Fail to Comply with Probation Order X2.

The 3 were detained in custody.
