Please Help Strathcona Police Identify Suspect in Bank Card Theft Case

Strathcona County, Alberta – Strathcona County RCMP are requesting the public’s assistance in gathering information on the following crime:

Sometime between the hours of 12:00 a.m. and 4:35 a.m. on Monday July 17, 2017 suspect(s) entered a vehicle on Highgrove Terrance in Sherwood Park and took a wallet and cash. The complainant’s bank card was then used at five different businesses throughout Sherwood Park and Edmonton using the tap feature.

  • On the same day at 5:34 a.m. a female was observed purchasing items at an Esso on 82 Ave NW in Edmonton with the stolen bank card.
  • On the same day at 5:37 a.m. the same female was observed purchasing items at a Shopper’s Drug Mart on 82 Ave NW in Edmonton with the stolen bank card.

The female is described as having long light brown hair and was wearing blue jeans and a black jacket.

Strathcona County RCMP are releasing a surveillance image in hopes of identifying the female.
