Vancouver Police are appealing to the public to help identify an injured pedestrian

Vancouver, BC – Just after 7:30 a.m., an elderly man was struck by a vehicle near the SkyTrain station at Slocan and East 29th Avenue in Vancouver. The man suffered serious injuries and was taken to the hospital. He was not carrying identification and his identity is unknown. Investigators are hoping that a member of the public can help identify him.

He is described as an Asian male, 70 to 80 years of age, 5’8” to 5’10” tall, and walking with a black cane. He was wearing a blue and grey plaid button up shirt, tan-coloured trousers, brown leather lace-up shoes, and possibly a black toque (photos attached).
