Two Hills RCMP investigate carjacking at residence in Andrew, Alberta

Two Hills County, Alberta – On Aug. 26, 2017 at approximately 7:30 p.m., Two Hills RCMP responded to a call of carjacking at a residence in Andrew, Alberta.

A male pulled into the driveway of the residence with a car and requested assistance. The male suspect then threatened a victim and advised he was armed with a firearm. The victim provided keys to a separate vehicle parked in the driveway and the suspect fled the residence and proceeded eastbound on Highway 29.

Two Hills RCMP with assistance of Vegreville and St. Paul detachments made extensive patrols in the area but the suspect and vehicle were not located.

The car the suspect was initially driving was reported stolen from Edmonton. Photo’s of the suspect are attached from a gas station in Mundare, Alberta prior to the carjacking.

The suspect male is described as:

  • Aboriginal
  • 20-30 years old
  • 6’0” – 6’3” height
  • Short dark hair
  • Black shirt
  • Blue jeans

The stolen vehicle is described as:

  • Black Dodge Caravan
  • Alberta license plate# BBB3862
