Lethbridge Police seeking public assistance to identify robbery suspect

Lethbridge, Alberta – Lethbridge Police are seeking the public’s assistance to identify a male suspect in connection with a robbery earlier this month at a southside convenience store.

On August 18, 2017 at approximately 1:50 a.m. police responded to a report of a robbery at Gas King along the 2600 block of 16 Avenue South after a lone male entered the store, struck the counter with a weapon and demanded cash. An undisclosed amount was provided and the subject fled on foot.

The suspect is described as a Caucasian male, approximately 30-35, six-feet tall, with a medium build. He was wearing a black hoodie, blue jeans, black shoes with white laces and sunglasses.

Anyone who recognizes the suspect or has any other information about the robbery is asked to contact police at 403-328-4444 or Crime Stoppers 1-800-222-8477. Crime Stoppers will pay cash for information leading to an arrest.
