Police looking for break, enter and theft suspect in in Neguac, N.B.

Neguac, New Brunswick – Neguac RCMP are investigating a break, enter and theft that occurred overnight at the Quik Mart convenience store in Neguac.

At approximately 2:15 a.m. on August 28, 2017, police responded to 775 rue Principale where a man wearing a mask with a hood over his head entered the store by smashing the glass of the front entrance. The individual was unsuccessful in breaking into the cabinet behind the front counter where cigarettes and tobacco are stored.

The individual grabbed a box of lighters before fleeing the store on foot. The individual is described as being slim, approximately 6 feet tall, was wearing light coloured gloves and a dark coloured jacket. No vehicles were observed to be in the area at the time of the break and enter.
