Saskatoon Police arrested six people yesterday, after discovering a stolen truck being stripped of its parts

Saskatoon, Saskatchewan – At approximately 7:30 p.m., August 28, 2017 Saskatoon Police responded to a complaint of a possible stolen vehicle at a residence on the 100 block of Avenue M South. Upon arrival, Officers found a stolen truck in the back alley in the process of being disassembled. Various bicycle parts were also found in the yard and residence. Four people exited the house and were arrested without incident for Possession of Stolen Property. Two more people were arrested minutes later, after attempting to hide in the residence. On these persons, Police located and seized bear spray, two BB guns, ammunition, a baton, a knife, hydromorphine, methamphetamine, individual packages of marihuana, cannabis resin, a large quantity of cash, cell phones, and drug paraphernalia.

A 24 year old female was charged with Possession of a Methamphetamine and Breach of Undertaking.

A 25 year old male was charged with Possession of a Weapon Dangerous to the Public (x4), Possession of Marihuana, Possession of Cannabis Resin, Possession of Methamphetamine and Possession of Hydromorphine.

Charges are pending against two women, ages 41 and 29, and a 36 year old man.
