Edmonton Police investigating shots fired on Whyte Avenue

Edmonton, Alberta – The Edmonton Police Service is investigating an incident that occurred on Wednesday, Aug. 30, 2017, around 10:15 p.m. near a convenience store in the area of 99 Street and Whyte Avenue.

It was reported that Southwest Division officers were investigating a suspected stolen vehicle when shots were allegedly fired by an EPS member.

Police are looking for an older model, four-door, white Ford F-350 diesel truck and the driver.

The Director of Law Enforcement was notified of this incident and advised EPS Homicide Section to proceed with the investigation.
