Child Located Safe Following Rocky Mountain House Amber Alert

Rocky Mountain House, Alberta – 3 year old Rocklyn Abraham has been located safe and unharmed after an Amber Alert was issued earlier this evening.

At approximately 6:00 p.m., a call was received reporting a possible abduction of a 3 year old female from a residence on the Big Horn First Nation, west of Rocky Mountain House.

An amber alert was issued and every available resource was mobilized to have the child located safely.

At 9:00 p.m., the 3 year old child was located safe and unharmed in a vehicle by Sylvan Lake RCMP.

Rocky Mountain House RCMP would like to thank the public and the media for their assistance and tips that assisted police in locating the child safely.

No charges have been laid at this time and the investigation is ongoing.
