Winnipeg Police Conduct Multiple Shooting Investigations

Winnipeg, Manitoba – Shooting – Investigation: C17-207406 On September 15, 2017, at approximately 3:30 a.m., members of the Winnipeg Police Service responded a report of a male who had been shot in the 300 block of College Avenue.

Upon arrival, a male in his 20’s was located suffering from a gunshot wound to his upper body. K9 officers, who were on scene, applied a tactical tourniquet in order to stabilize the injury.

The male was transported to hospital in unstable condition but has since been upgraded to stable condition.

Shooting – Investigation: C17-207462 – On September 15, 2017, at approximately 7:45 a.m., members of the Winnipeg Police Service responded to a report of a female who had been shot in the 500 block of St. Johns Avenue.

Upon arrival, a female in her 20’s was located suffering from a gunshot wound to her upper body.

The female was transported to hospital in unstable condition but has since been upgraded to stable condition.
