Third Arrest Made in Winnipeg Homicide

Winnipeg, Manitoba – The Winnipeg Police Homicide Unit has made a third arrest in the homicide of Trevor BODNAREK. On September 25, 2017, Anthony Shane MONIAS, 32-years-old of Winnipeg was arrested and charged with Manslaughter.

As previously released:

On July 21, 2017, at approximately 10:00 p.m., emergency personnel responded to the 700 block of Selkirk Avenue for a report of shots fired.

Upon arrival, officers located an adult male suffering from a gunshot wound.

The male was transported to the hospital in critical condition; however, he was subsequently pronounced deceased.

On September 20, 2017 Winnipeg Police homicide investigators arrested Craig Dylan MONKMAN, 19-years-old and Albert Kelly THOMAS, 34-years-old, both of Winnipeg. They were charged with 2nd Degree Murder and detained in custody.
