Airdrie RCMP Investigate B&E and Theft at Canada Post

Airdrie, Alberta – Airdrie RCMP are asking the public for information concerning an incident of a break and enter and theft that occurred at the Canada Post located on Kingsview Boulevard.

On January 16, 2018 between 2:05 and 2:12 am, Airdrie RCMP members responded to a commercial alarm at Canada Post. Members arrived and noted that the front door was unlocked. The gate separating the retail area and general mailbox area had been pried open. Several mailboxes were damaged and opened. At this time, it is unknown what all was stolen. Video surveillance was obtained and it was determined that there were at least two suspects involved.

Suspect descriptions:

First suspect:

  • Caucasian male, approximately 5’10” and short brown hair
  • Wearing prescription glasses and a white hood with blue jeans

Second suspect:

  • Caucasian male, approximately 5’10”
  • Wearing a black hat, jacket and pants
