Airdrie, Alberta– Airdrie RCMP are asking the public for information concerning an assault that occurred at Anytime Fitness on Railway Avenue in Airdrie.
On Friday, March 16, 2018 at approximately 3:00 am, Airdrie RCMP responded to a call for assistance at Anytime Fitness. A male outside the fitness facility began banging on the door indicating he wanted inside. Another male, inside the facility, let the suspect male inside whom then began to ask the victim strange questions. The suspect male also began to push the victim around while asking for identification and asking him to empty his pockets. The suspect male eventually left the scene without injuring the victim. Police were then contacted.
The suspect male was described as:
- Caucasian male and approximately 30-years-old
- Short, brown, brush-cut hair
- Wearing a black hat, blue coat, and brown pants
