Dogs attack youth and an adult in Nanaimo, B.C.

Nanaimo, BC – On Saturday May 12th, 2018 at approximately 1000 am two off leash, unsupervised dogs attacked a couple of youths and an adult while they were in yards of their Cinnibar homes in South Nanaimo.

Numerous neighbours intervened and dogs were retrieved by their owner who took them back home. Nanaimo RCMP attended and were able to locate the dogs and their owner with animal control. Animal control seized the dogs and they were humanely euthanized. The investigation is ongoing.
