Moncton, New Brunswick – Codiac Regional RCMP is asking for the public’s assistance related to an investigation of three suspicious fires in Moncton, N.B., that caused damage to four vehicles.
On April 15, 2018, shortly before 8 a.m., police were called to Gurney Street after a truck was damaged by fire. Approximately 45 minutes later that same day, police then responded to a car on fire on Vail Street.
On April, 16, 2018, shortly after 5 a.m., police were called to a fire on Highlandview Road that damaged a motorcycle and a truck.
In all cases, the fires are believed to have been deliberately set. The vehicles all sustained substantive damages. The investigations are continuing and it’s unknown at this time if the fires are connected.
