Vancouver Police Seeking Identity of Man Seen Walking with Carlton Stevens, Accused in Double Shooting

Vancouver, BC – The vehicle believed to be associated to the May 18 double shooting in East Vancouver has been identified and determined to have been stolen at the time of the incident. The Nissan Altima has since been forensically examined and returned to its owner.

Detectives are still trying to confirm the identity of the second man seen in the security footage walking with the accused, Carlton Stevens.

BACKGROUND:

Vancouver Police are investigating a targeted double shooting that occurred just before 6 a.m. today in a residence on Industrial Avenue near Station Street. Two people have been taken to hospital with gunshot wounds.

No arrests have been made. Officers will remain in the area as the investigation continues.
