Cash and drugs seized during Whitehorse, Yukon traffic stop

Two adult males and one male youth, all residents of Ontario, were arrested on charges related to possession of drugs and trafficking.

Whitehorse, Yukon – Just before 11:00 pm on Friday, June 15th, 2018, Whitehorse RCMP responded to a report of an erratic driver in the downtown area of Whitehorse.

Officers located the vehicle a short time later on 4th Avenue.

The traffic stop resulted in the seizure of more than 50 grams of suspected crack cocaine, 6 grams of marijuana, more than $4000 in cash, and multiple cell phones.

Two adult males and one male youth, all residents of Ontario, were arrested on charges related to possession of drugs and trafficking.

Ayub Abdullah, 18 years old, and Dawson Aguilera, 18 years old, appeared in Whitehorse Territorial Court on Saturday, June 16 and were released on conditions. Their next court appearance is scheduled for July 4th, 2018.

The 16-year-old male youth appeared in court on Saturday, June 16 and remains in custody. His next court appearance is scheduled for June 19, 2018.
