Grande Prairie RCMP Charge Three People Following Search Warrant Execution

Grande Prairie, Alberta – On Thursday, May 31, 2018 Members of the Grande Prairie Crime Reduction Unit with the assistance of the Grande Prairie Drug Unit and Safer Communities and Neighbourhoods (SCAN) executed a search warrant on a resident at the Parkside Inn. The occupants were suspected of drug trafficking.

Three people were arrested without incident.

Pursuant to the search warrant Police seized two illegally possessed firearms and three illegal magazines along with evidence of drug trafficking and a small quantity of methamphetamine.

A 29 year old man from Grande Prairie has been charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance.

Jesse PAQUIN (41) and Katelyn GARGAN (27) of Grande Prairie have been charged with:

  • Careless Storage of a Firearm/Ammunition x4
  • Unauthorized Possession of a Firearm/Ammunition x5
