Boyle, Alberta – Yesterday at approximately 11:00 a.m., Boyle RCMP responded to report of a theft of cell phone from a vehicle that was parked at a business in Boyle. A witness was able to provide descriptions of the suspects and vehicle. Police immediately responded but the pair fled before police arrival.
At approximately 5:00 p.m., Boyle RCMP were advised of a break and enter at a business just outside of Boyle. Police determined that the same suspect vehicle from the theft earlier in the day was involved. Police responded, and attempted to stop the suspect vehicle but it fled.
The suspect vehicle then attempted to ram a police vehicle. A short pursuit was initiated but was quickly terminated due to public safety. The vehicle which was reported stolen out of Edmonton was located abandoned a short time later near a rural campsite at Amisk Lake, Alberta.
Boyle RCMP with assistance from St. Paul Police Dog Services (PDS), and RCMP Air Services searched the area for the suspects for several hours but they were not located.
Boyle RCMP are requesting the public’s assistance to help identify the suspects involved in the attached photos.
