Man Pulls Firearms and Points it at Lloydminster Cab Driver

Lloydminster, Saskatchewan – On September 12, 2018, just before 10:00 pm, Lloydminster RCMP responded to a call of a man who had assaulted a cab driver in the 4100 block of 41 Avenue.

While on the way to the call RCMP learned that the man had produced a hand gun and pointed it at the cab driver.

Once on scene, police officers surrounded the residence where the man had gone and initiated contact. After a short time police officers were able to arrest the man without further incident. Once the man was in custody police officers obtained a search warrant and recovered a loaded hand gun.

Daniel Radis, 27 years old from Lloydminster, has been charged with; Assault with a weapon, Assault, Fraud, Common nuisance, Resisting arrest, and 8 firearms offences. Radis appeared before a Saskatchewan Justice of the Peace and was remanded into custody and will appear in Saskatchewan provincial court on September 17 , 2018.
