Prince Albert Police Officer Assaulted; Christopher Lake Male Arrested

Prince Albert, Saskatchewan – On October 16, 2017 at 4:33 p.m. officers attended to an apartment on 900 Block Central Avenue to serve court documents. In the hallway of the building officers recognized a known male who was wanted on an outstanding warrant.

The male was uncooperative with police and fled when officers attempted arrest in the west alley. Officers managed to apprehend the male who struggled against arrest. He was eventually brought under control and arrested.

The 30-year-old male from Christopher Lake, Saskatchewan is charged with assaulting a police officer and breaching a probation order.

The suspect will make their first appearance in Prince Albert Provincial Court today (Information #991028787).
