Police Lockdown Schools in Saskatoon as Precaution

Saskatoon, Saskatchewan – Two elementary schools went into perimeter lockdown this morning following a reported weapon having been seen.

The schools initiated the perimeter lockdowns at 9:30 a.m., May 15, 2018 after a student reported seeing a person with a gun in a park near a school. Police responded and searched the area, but no firearms or suspects were located. The perimeter lockdown was lifted at 9:47 a.m.
