Camrose Police Service Report for June 13, 2018

Camrose, Alberta – June 13, 2018 – A male was charged with assault when a female reported that he had spit and then hit her in the face. The male was located, arrested and searched resulting in Police locating a unique vape which was known to be stolen on May 20th. The male who was also on probation was charged with assault, breaching his probation, breaching a recognizance and possession of stolen property.

Police located a 1999 Dodge Ram pick-up truck on 54 street in the 5200 block that was reported stolen from Lloydminster the day prior. An enclosed 20 foot Wells Cargo food trailer was attached to the truck at the time of the theft and its location remains unknown.

A motorcycle was stopped for speeding on Grand Drive. The 23 year old male was traveling at 112 km/hr in a 50 km/hr speed zone. The male was served with a mandatory court appearance.

Police responded to a complaint of a disturbance on 49 street in the 5200 block. A male dropping off his children at their mother’s home became involved in a fight with her current boyfriend. The involved parties were not cooperative with Police and the situation was mediated.

A vehicle owner reported that two people wearing black hoodies were trying to steal the hitch on his pick-up truck. The suspects were not located.
