Gleichen RCMP Take Down Drug Dealers, $10,000 in Drugs Seized

Gleichen, Alberta – On September 13th, 2018 the Gleichen RCMP arrested individuals believed to be responsible for trafficking a large amount of Methamphetamine’s and prescription pills in Gleichen and the Siksika Nation.

The subject of a lengthy drug investigation, local residents: Vickey LILGEDAHL (age 59) and Gary Donald TRACY (age 50) have been charged with several counts of Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking, Possession of Property Obtained by Crime and Resisting Arrest.

Initially seizing a large amount of Methamphetamine and Canadian Currency, investigators executed a Search Warrant at their residence and further recovered a stash of Oxycodone and proceeds of crime to include an All Terrain Vehicle.

Estimating the total street value of the seizure to be approximately $10,000, LILGEDAHL and TRACY are scheduled to appear in Provincial Court later this week.
