Grande Prairie RCMP Lay Charges Following Search Warrant Execution

Grande Prairie, Alberta – On Friday September 14, 2018, Grande Prairie RCMP Drug Unit executed a search warrant involving a vehicle and a residence in Grande Prairie. One male and one female were arrested without incident.

The following items were seized during the search: 226 grams of cocaine, and over $85,000 in Canadian currency.

Lydia Sahale MAMO (27) and Salah Abbiahkim OMAR (25) of Grande Prairie are facing the following charges:

  • Possession for the purpose of trafficking
  • Possession of proceeds of crime

Both were scheduled to appear in Provincial Court in Grande Prairie on September 19, 2018.
