Raymond RCMP investigate collision at intersection of Highway 5 and Highway 52

Raymond, Alberta – On Oct. 11, 2018 at approximately 5:45 p.m., Raymond RCMP responded to a three vehicle collision at the intersection of Highway 5 and Highway 52 near Raymond.

Preliminary investigating has revealed that a northbound white truck hauling a trailer on Highway 5 collided with a westbound truck entering Highway 52, the collision also involved a south bound car.

The westbound truck had five youth occupants. Two were transported to Lethbridge Hospital with non life threatening injuries. three youths were transported to a Calgary hospital two via STARS and one by EMS. Two have serious non threatening injuries and one with serious life threatening injuries. All five youth remain in hospital.

The lone male occupant of the white northbound truck was treated for minor injuries on scene and released.

The female driver of the car was transported to hospital in Lethbridge by EMS with non life threatening injuries.

Raymond RCMP and a RCMP Collision Analyst attended the scene and the collision remains under investigation.
