Bonnyville RCMP Seek to Identify Female in Fraud Investigation

Bonnyville, Alberta – On September 7, 2018, the Bonnyville RCMP received a complaint of possible fraudulent transactions being made at the Co-op Home Centre on Eastpointe Way in Bonnyville.

Between the dates of August 18, 2018 and September 5, 2018 several people attended the Home Centre and made purchases with a credit card account which was later determine to be fraudulent. The total amount of fraudulent purchases made during the time frame exceeded $7000.00.

The Police investigation into this matter resulted in four potential suspects being identified. Three of these suspects have been charged with several offences in relation to this investigation. Another unknown female has not been identified. Police are requesting the public’s assistance in identifying this female.
