WAD RCRU RCMP seize drugs & weapons after executing search warrant

Grande Prairie, Alberta – Three people are facing charges after the Western Alberta District Rural Crime Reduction Unit executed a search warrant on a city residence.

On Saturday, November 3, 2018, members of the Western Alberta District Rural Crime Reduction Unit executed a search warrant at a residence in the Southwynd Estates neighbourhood in the City of Grande Prairie. The search warrant was a result of a several month long investigation and was the second search warrant executed at the residence since May 2018. During the search, police seized 4 firearms, ammunition, Canadian currency, along with a quantity of Methamphetamine, Cocaine, Heroine and Magic Mushrooms.

David Jeffrey Guilbault, 42, of Grande Prairie has been charged with the following;

  • Possession of Methamphetamine for the Purpose of Trafficking
  • Possession of Heroine for the Purpose of Trafficking
  • Possession of Cocaine
  • Possession of Psilocybin (magic mushrooms)
  • 15 firearms charges
  • 14 counts of Fail to Comply With Recognizance

Guilbault has been remanded and will appear in Grande Prairie Provincial Court on November 21, 2018.

Cameron Joseph Pike 36, of Grande Prairie has been charged with the following;

  • Possession of Methamphetamine for the Purpose of Trafficking
  • Possession of Heroine for the Purpose of Trafficking
  • Possession of Cocaine
  • Possession of Psilocybin (magic mushrooms)
  • 20 firearms charges
  • 14 counts of Failing to Comply With Recognizance
  • 1 count of Possession of Proceeds of Crime

Pike has been remanded and will appear in Grande Prairie Provincial Court on November 21, 2018.

Staci Lynn Stevenson, 30, of Grande Prairie has been charged with the following;

  • Possession of Methamphetamine for the Purpose of Trafficking
  • Possession of Heroine for the Purpose of Trafficking
  • Possession of Cocaine
  • Possession of Psilocybin (magic mushrooms)
  • 15 firearms charges

Stevenson has been released and will appear in Grande Prairie Provincial Court on November 21, 2018.

In May 2018, David Jeffrey Guilbault was charged with several drug and firearms offenses after police executed a search warrant at the same residence. Those charges are currently before the courts.

As this matter is now before the courts no further information will be provided.
