Camrose RCMP respond to collision with bale

Camrose, Alberta – Saturday at approximately 5:30 p.m., Camrose RCMP responded to a report of bale vs semi-tractor call on Highway 21 near Township Road 492 approximately five kms south New Serepta.

A flat deck truck was travelling southbound on Highway 21 when it lost a straw bale. The bale fell off the back of the deck and an oncoming northbound semi-tractor collided with it causing damage. The driver of the semi-tractor was not injured.

Camrose RCMP is looking for the owner of the flat deck truck involved in this incident that was carrying bales around this time.

RCMP would like to remind all motorists to secure any items they maybe transporting.
