Stonewall RCMP respond to fatal collision involving child

Stonewall, Manitoba – On January 3, 2019, at approximately 1:00 pm, Stonewall RCMP responded to a vehicle and pedestrian collision on 1st Avenue North in Stonewall, Manitoba.

A three-year-old female was struck in the driveway of a residence by a vehicle being driven by an adult male. The child was transported to local hospital, where she succumbed to her injuries.

At this time, alcohol and speed are not considered factors in this collision, and it does not appear that charges will be laid.
