Two Under Arrest After Break In Spree In Rosetown And Evade Police In Saskatoon

Saskatoon, Saskatchewan – A 30 year old male and a 33 year old female, both from Regina, are in custody following a high speed pursuit in a stolen vehicle.

At approximately 12:50 am, the Saskatoon Police Air Support Unit observed a reported stolen vehicle entering city limits. The Rosetown RCMP had previously alerted the Saskatoon City Police of the vehicle’s description and the possibility that it may be headed towards Saskatoon. The vehicle had been stolen from a Rosetown business earlier in the evening. The suspects are also believed to have been responsible for two other break and enters in Rosetown.

The male driver failed to stop for a patrol unit on the edge of Saskatoon and that is when the SPS Air Support Unit took over, following the vehicle to an address in the Caswell Hill neighborhood where ground patrol units moved in and apprehended the two suspects without incident.
