Edmonton Homicide Section investigating suspicious death

Edmonton, Alberta – At approximately 8:15 p.m. yesterday evening, Wednesday, Jan. 9, 2019, Northeast Division officers responded to multiple reports of shots fired in the area of 77 Street and 166 Avenue.

Upon arrival, officers found Enzo Campoli, 52, injured and lying on the sidewalk in front of a house. Mr. Campoli was pronounced deceased on scene by EMS.

Investigators are releasing the victim’s name for investigative purposes – in hopes of generating tips and information that could help in solving the crime.

An autopsy has been scheduled for tomorrow morning, Friday, Jan. 11, 2019.

Detectives continue to investigate and no further information is available for release.
