Cold Lake RCMP is investigating three armed robberies and is seeking public assistance

Cold Lake, Alberta – On January 12th, 2019, the Cold Lake RCMP responded to three armed robberies that occurred at the Esso North, the Esso South and at the Red Rooster in Cold Lake, Alberta. The Cold Lake RCMP believe that the same suspect is involved in all three robberies. The suspect entered each business covering his face and carrying what was believed to be a firearm. The suspect was seen leaving each time into a small vehicle. No one was harmed during the incident.

Cold Lake RCMP with the assistance of Police Dog Services did an extensive search of all areas but the suspect was not located.

The male suspect was described by witnesses as the following:

  • Approximately 5’8”
  • Between 20 to 25 year-old
  • Dark coloured hair
  • Black sweater with a White Element logo on the left side.
  • Green Baseball hat
  • Black pants
  • Dark coloured shoes
