Update: St. Albert RCMP – Theft of Vehicle from Gym – Recovered

St. Albert, Alberta – The stolen 2016 Jeep Cherokee Trail Hawk Edition was recovered near 130 Street and 140 Avenue in Edmonton, Alberta. The police investigation continues.

BACKGROUND

St. Albert, AB – On Monday, January 28, 2019, St. Albert RCMP received a report that a vehicle had been stolen from the parking lot of Goodlife Fitnesss between 7:30 p.m. and 8:30 p.m., while the female owner of the vehicle was working out. The owner’s wallet and vehicle keys were stolen from her jacket which had been stored in the women’s locker room of the gym.

The stolen vehicle is an Orange 2016 Jeep Cherokee Trail Hawk Edition with Alberta license plate ZMR 017. The vehicle has Winnipeg Jets bumper stickers and a Government parking pass hanging from the rear view mirror.

This vehicle has not been recovered and RCMP are looking for help from the public in locating the vehicle and in identifying the person or persons responsible for this theft.
