Whitbourne, Newfoundland and Labrador – On February 2, 2019, at approximately 10:30 p.m., Whitbourne RCMP received a complaint of a possible impaired driver at Freshmart in Dildo.
A 64-year-old man from New Harbour has been charged with impaired driving and refusing to provide breath samples.
At approximately 9:30 p.m. the following evening, police received another complaint about a possible impaired driver on Route 80 in Blaketown.
Police attended and arrested a 37-year-old man from Victoria. He was charged with impaired driving and refusing to provide breath samples.
Police impounded both vehicles. The two men received driver’s licence suspensions and were released with court dates in April, 2019.
