UPDATE: Suspicious Death in 2400 Block Of Eastview in Saskatoon

Saskatoon, Saskatchewan – Members of the Saskatoon Police Service Major Crime Section are continuing to investigate a suspicious death that occurred on February 2, 2019 in the 2400 block of Eastview.

An autopsy was conducted on February 4, 2019, on the body of the 27 year old male victim from Saskatoon. His name is not being made known at this time. The scene has been released and investigators continue to collect and analyze evidence.

BACKGROUND Release 2019-0080:

On February 2, 2019 at approximately 7:15 a.m. Saskatoon Police Service Patrol members along with Medavie Health Services responded to an injured male in a house in the 2400 block of Eastview.

The male was deceased at the scene.

Members from the Saskatoon Police Service Major Crime Section and Forensic Identification are actively investigating this incident. Both sections will be working with the Office of the Chief Coroner to investigate this incident fully.
