Whitecourt RCMP investigate bank robbery

Whitecourt, Alberta – On February 15th at 12:30 p.m. Whitecourt RCMP responded to an armed robbery at a financial institution on 50th Street in Whitecourt. A lone male suspect entered the bank and approached the employee demanding cash. The suspect fled the store on foot after making off with an undisclosed amount of cash. No one was injured.

The male suspect is described as

• Caucasian

• 5’10 to 6′

• Black toque and mitts

• Camouflage style jacket

• Black pants
