Surrey RCMP missing person investigation now deemed suspicious

Surrey, BC – Surrey RCMP is advising the public that a recent missing person investigation has been deemed suspicious and the Integrated Homicide Investigation (IHIT) team has taken conduct of the investigation.

On January 25, 2019, Surrey RCMP issued a media release regarding 38-year-old, Rajwinder Bains, who was reported missing from Surrey.

Surrey RCMP will continue to assist IHIT as the investigation continues, however further details and media availability will be handled by the IHIT Media Relations Officer.
