RCMP lay charges following break and enter investigation in Spruce Grove, two from Edmonton arrested

Spruce Grove, Alberta – On Feb. 18, 2019 Stony Plain/Spruce Grove/Enoch RCMP members responded to a call of a Break and Enter to a business in Spruce Grove, Alta. RCMP attended and investigation revealed that over five thousand dollars worth of tools were stolen from the business. Initially, there were not many leads, however, with the assistance of video surveillance and a thorough investigation, two suspects were identified and subsequently charged.

Nicholas Lepine (38) and Allisha Gariepy (21), both from Edmonton, AB, were charged with:

• Other theft over $5000

• Breaking and entering a business with intent

• Possession of a weapon for dangerous purpose

• Possession of methamphetamine

• Possess break-in instruments

After a judicial hearing, both were released and will be appearing in Stony Plain Provincial Court on Mar. 13, 2019 at 9:30 A.M.
