Bay Roberts RCMP arrest 64-year-old woman for drug-impaired driving

Bay Roberts, Newfoundland and Labrador – On Friday, March 8, 2019, Bay Roberts RCMP responded to a complaint of an erratic driver in the community of Clarke’s Beach.

The vehicle was intercepted in Bay Roberts and a traffic stop was initiated. A 64-year-old Clarke’s Beach woman was arrested for drug impaired driving. A drug recognition evaluation was conducted on the driver and she is now facing a charge of drug impaired driving.

The woman’s vehicle was seized and impounded and her licence has been suspended. She is set to attend court on June 19, 2019.
