Charges laid related to thefts from lockers at Canada Games Centre

Whitehorse, Yukon – On May 6th, 2019, Whitehorse RCMP arrested a 31-year-old man in relation to recent thefts of property from lockers located inside the Canada Games Centre in Whitehorse.

Benjamin James Symington is facing charges for possession of property obtained by crime, mischief under $5000, use of a stolen credit card, and failing to comply with court-imposed bail conditions.

Mr. Symington appeared in Whitehorse Territorial Court on May 8th, 2019 and was released on conditions. His next court appearance is scheduled for May 22, 2019.
