Shellbrook RCMP: Drug investigation in Canwood, Saskatchewan

Canwood, Saskatchewan – On June 3rd, the Ahtahkakoop & Shellbrook RCMP Detachment executed a Controlled Drugs and Substance Act Search warrant on a residence in Canwood, Saskatchewan.

During the search of the residence, police seized several items including: methamphetamine (crystal meth), drug related paraphernalia, electronic devices, and a Conducted Energy or Tazer like weapon.

As a result, 37-year-old Tyler Fleury was arrested and charged for possession for the purpose of trafficking methamphetamine and possession of a prohibited weapon.

Fleury appeared before a Justice and was released on strict conditions and is to appear on a later court date in Shellbrook, Sk.
