Wood Buffalo RCMP investigate shooting on Biggs Avenue

Fort McMurray, Alberta – On June 16, 2019, at approximately 12:40 a.m., Wood Buffalo RCMP responded to a report of gunfire on Biggs Avenue near the intersection of Biggs Avenue and Hardin Street. Members attended and located a male with gunshot wounds, he was taken to hospital by EMS and later air lifted to Edmonton with serious injuries.

RCMP cannot say at this point if this was a random or targeted attack.
