Stonewall RCMP investigate fatal two-vehicle collision

RM of Rockwood, Manitoba – On June 25, 2019, at approximately 12:20 pm, Stonewall RCMP responded to a two-vehicle collision at the intersection of Road 90 North and Road 7 East in the RM of Rockwood.

Investigators have determined that a SUV, driven by a 29-year-old female from the RM of Rockwood, was travelling west on Road 90 North when it collided with a pickup truck travelling south on Road 7 East, which was driven by a 51-year-old male from the RM of Rockwood.

The female driver of the SUV was pronounced deceased at the scene. The male driver was taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

Neither drugs nor alcohol are suspected as factors in the collision.

Stonewall RCMP along with a Forensic Collision Reconstructionist, continue to investigate.
