Palmer Road, Prince Edward Island – A 17-year-old female from western P.E.I., has died following an accident in the early hours of Sunday, June 30th.
A 9-1-1 call requested assistance for the woman and members of the Prince District RCMP, Miminegash Fire Department and Island EMS responded to a report of a female unresponsive on the side of the road, in Palmer Road in western P.E.I. The victim had sustained injuries after falling from a vehicle. Unfortunately, she died on scene as a result of her injuries.
The investigation into the circumstances surrounding her death is ongoing.
