UPDATE: Calgary Male Missing After Vehicle Found Submerged in Water

Brooks, Alberta – On July 5, 2019 at approximately 6:00 p.m., Brooks RCMP responded to a single motor vehicle collision on Highway 1 approximately 20 km west of Brooks, Alta.

The vehicle involved in the collision has several kilometers on open field before hitting the ravine and becoming submerged in water. The driver of the vehicle was believed to be Joseph Given (25) of Calgary, Alta. Brooks RCMP, Bassano RCMP, RCMP Police Dog Services, HALO (Medevac Rescue Helicopter), Search and Rescue, Medicine Hat Fire Department and Brooks Fire Department have conducted an extensive search of area and ravine and have not been able to locate the driver.

Joseph is described as:

• White

• 6’2”tall

• 221lbs

• Brown hair

• Hazel eyes
