Grande Prairie RCMP Conduct Impaired Driving Initiative

Grande Prairie, Alberta – On the weekend of July 12, 2019, Grande Prairie RCMP Traffic Unit, along with Grande Prairie RCMP Integrated Traffic Unit, and Enforcement Services, are conducting an enforcement initiative targeting impaired driving in the City of Grande Prairie. The Mobile Breath Test Unit will be at checkstop locations throughout the city. This unit provides RCMP with breath testing equipment tools on site to assist RCMP with impaired driving investigations.

If you are planning on drinking, please do not drive. By finding an alternative way home such as; transit, cabs or a designated driver you can help ensure that you, and the people sharing the road with you, get to their destination safely.
