St. Albert RCMP: Adult Male Charged With Firearms Offences

St. Albert, Alberta – In early July the St. Albert RCMP Crime Reduction Unit began an investigation into a number of residential Break & Enters in which firearms were the target. The Break & Enters occurred in St. Albert, High Prairie and Onoway. The information gathered through the course of the investigation lead to a search warrant being executed in an apartment residence on Sturgeon Road.

During the search, RCMP located 5 firearms, 3 of which were stolen out of High Prairie. One of the firearms had it’s barrel sawed off, making it a prohibited weapon.
