Airdrie RCMP save male in medical distress

Airdrie, Alberta – On July 23, 2019 at approximately 9:35 a.m., Airdrie RCMP officers noted a vehicle which appeared to be abandoned close to the detachment. Upon checking the vehicle a male was located unconscious in the passenger seat.

An ambulance was dispatched however the officers believed the male had overdosed and was in medical distress, so they quickly administered Naloxone to him. The male regained consciousness prior to paramedics arriving and he has since been transported to the hospital in stable condition.
