Lethbridge Police investigating armed robbery

Lethbridge, Alberta – Lethbridge Police are investigating an armed robbery at a northside gas station.

On August 16, 2019 at approximately 4:50 a.m. a masked female and male entered the Circle K/Esso gas station along the 300 block of Bluefox Boulevard North. The female approached the store clerk, brandished a gun and demanded cash while the male remained at the exit. An undisclosed amount of money was provided and both subjects fled the store and entered a dark colored vehicle, operated by a second male, which fled westbound from the area. The clerk was not injured.

The female is described as short in stature, with darker skin and wearing a black hoodie with white along the sleeves, dark pants and a bandana covering her face. The male is described as being tall, with dark skin, and was wearing a black and grey hoodie with a dark bandana covering his face. There is no description for the second male or the vehicle.

Anyone with information about the robbery is asked to contact police at 403-328-4444 or Crime Stoppers 1-800-222-8477. Anonymous tips can also be submitted online at www.p3tips.com. Crime Stoppers will pay cash for information leading to an arrest.
